Many argue that you also stand less of a chance of getting an infection as a direct result of the procedure. This is also usually an outpatient procedure.
Some problems with laser surgery to get rid of stretch marks are with the type and age of the stretch marks that you have. Lasers do not do a good job on older stretch marks that have already turned a flesh color or turned white. But they do a better job with brown or reddish stretch marks.
